Greg G. Young

Co-Owner, Gray Hawk Construction, LLC

 

Greg G. Young cofounded and co-owns Gray Hawk Construction, where he takes an active role in directly managing projects. Mr. Young brings to Gray Hawk Construction 17 years experience progressively as a carpenter, scheduler, foreman, strategic planner, project manager, owner of a residential construction company, and land developer. At Gray Hawk, he manages projects, focuses on client relationships, develops business relationships within the home construction industry, and seeks ways to improve the management of projects. As managing principal, Mr. Young recently spearheaded building a 21,000-square-foot estate home in 18 months.

 

Mr. Young currently holds a general contractor license for the State of Utah (B 100) and has been approved for a similar license for the State of Nevada. His early experience in the residential construction industry began with carpentry, siding, and metal roofing for high-end construction. He later became a venture capitalist and land developer for projects in Utah and Idaho. In 2003, Mr. Young started up Falcon Crest Homes, and the company grew 200 percent in four years  . Parades of Homes in 2004, 2005, and 2011 recognized Mr. Young with awards for building.

 

Mr. Young and his wife are the parents of three children. He is an avid sports fan and especially enjoys golf.

 


 

Brandon S. Fry

Co-Owner, Gray Hawk Construction, LLC

With a reputation for meticulous oversight and strategic planning Brandon’s role at Gray Hawk Construction consists of estimating, budgeting, and job site management.  Brandon has built a responsive organization to consistently provide his clients with comprehensive jobsite and budget analysis resulting in cost and time containment.

Prior to Co-Founding Gray Hawk Construction Brandon learned management skills as the territory manager for Custom Fireplace Distributors, a fireplace, garage door, and insulation distributor, in Salt Lake City, Utah.  At Custom Fireplace one of the most significant achievements was his ability to increase sales while utilizing the existing staff.  Using his skills he facilitated an annual sales increase of $1,000,000 per year during his 5 year tenure.  With a focus on strategic planning at Gray Hawk Construction Brandon lead his team in the impressive completion of a luxury17,500 sq ft residence in less than 9 months.

Brandon enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 children.  He is an avid runner and has competed in several marathons and other races. He enjoys mountain biking, skiing, and being outdoors.
